I designed 'The Tide Set' in response to the growing number of people who are working from home. The set is inspired by the sea and replicates its meditative characteristics to create a place where a user can take a break and detach from everyday life. 

 

The set is made using sustainably sourced ash and quilted cotton components. Both pieces can be disassembled as they use socket screws.

 

The chair also features an element inspired by an ocean drum that slots into the base of the chair so that the sound of the sea is created as it rocks.
